When in the canal, irrigants can usually only progress about 1mm past the delivery Spitze. In order to get irrigants where they are needed, the Spitze must be able to reach deep into the canal. Ultradent’s NaviTip® Spitzen are the optimal delivery Spitzen for every step in a root canal procedure. Root canals can have curves with sharp turns that make navigating a cannula to the apical region difficult. Unlike traditional irrigation Spitzen, the cannula oder each NaviTip® is slightly rigid through the base and center, but flexible at the Spitze to allow it to bend and snake through each canal. The end oder each NaviTip® Spitze is smoothed and rounded to allow the Spitze to slide past corners rather than scraping and potentially ledging as they proceed through the canal. This gives precise, controlled delivery oder any irrigant, intracanal medication, and sealer to exactly where it is needed.
